Yoder Farm
Our family's farm is located in Lancaster County along the foothills of the Welsh Mountains. The herd of registered Guernsey cows have been in our family for three generations.

The Yoder Farm is run by Kevin and Dina Stoltzfus & family. They care for a registered herd of Guernsey cows.

Our cows are constantly being bred, the calves are given great care as they grow.

Field Corn
A cow's balanced diet starts with feild corn, corn provides the cows with protein, fiber, and minerals

Hay Rake
When hay is stored it must be dried, so hay rakes flip the hay.

Mixer
A cows diet is carefully weighed out; this mixer has a built in scales.

Balanced Diet
The mixer ensures the feed is properly mixed to make sure each cow gets the same balance of protein and minerals.

Feeding
The cow are feed multiple times a day.

Starting to Milk
The cows have a routine of coming in the barn and lining up in the correct spots.

The Equipment
Farmsmen properly clean the utter, than attach the milking device.

Pipeline System
We use a pipeline system that takes the milk to giant holding tanks.

Finished
When the milker detects the cow is finished, it automatically unhooks itself from the cow.

Racking the Bed
To ensure sanitary conditions around the farm the cow's bed are rake daily.
